On our trip, we rode the "Tail of the Dragon" in N.Carolina...it's a very curvy road that sports cars and motorcycles enjoy ... they have a tree of shame with vehicle parts from accidents...There is a lookout where we got a picture taken by a nice gentlemen who was also there...
That is quite the sculpture at the top. Motorcycle parts?

Beautiful countryside in those winding roads....interesting "rememberance" sculpture and the tail is superb.
