Moon Watching...

  I was photographing the moon the other evening (a few evenings ago actually) and watched as it moved up and past the tree branches...it was cool to see how fast it moved...

Bonfire...

 

While camping, we had a bonfire...I warmed m feet...My daughter tells me that I have short fat toes...this makes them look longer...teehee...

Something different...

 

Saw these sitting there reflecting the world and needed a photo...

Poor Man's Pie...

 When I was young (many moons ago), my Mother baked ALOT!!... When there was extra pie crust (usually just the extra edges cut off so that it fit the pie pan properly), she would make a "Poor Man's Pie"...it was just the crust, some milk, flour, butter, cinnamon and sugar...it was so good...Here's an unbaked one and then right out of the oven...Hard to tell the difference...

...it was so good...even Hubby enjoyed it...I'm making another one soon... 

Tail of the Dragon...

      On our trip, we rode the "Tail of the Dragon" in N.Carolina...it's a very curvy road that sports cars and motorcycles enjoy ... they have a tree of shame with vehicle parts from accidents...There is a lookout where we got a picture taken by a nice gentlemen who was also there...

That time of Year...

  It's that time of year...the sunflowers are blooming everywhere...

Went to North Carolina the first couple days...

Saw rivers and bridges and rocks 

and Sunsets...

Today...

Don't have a picture yet...been out motorcycling all day...Hope your 9/11 went well...pictures coming...

  This young man is now 40...Who could have guessed the things that would make him who he is...

Sunrise...

      Watched the eagle hunting early morning...watched the sun rise over Lake Huron...Looks like the sky is on fire...

Trip...

        Last week for our anniversary, we took the bikes for a trip...put on 845 miles...Decided not to cross the bridge...Had a sore butt when we got home...

Paw Prints...

  We came upon this huge paw print in the sand...dog/wolf/bear/cougar...probably not big enough to be anything but a dog...

Too Hot...

    This little explorer got too warm and went for a dip in the edge of Lake Superior...of course, she could not wait to get to clean water, but decided to drink/swim in the muck...

The Beach Walk...

          We walked along the trail on the beach and in the woods...As you can see, the explorers were sometimes confused...but they found their way and arrived at the swinging bridge...
