Morels...

When do the morels emerge... seems like it's the first part of May, but without Pa's memory, I don't know...guess I'll just go look....

    I've never tasted one but I know they're supposed to be delicious, fried up in a bit of butter.

    They are yummy!!! We don't have any around my area, but when I lived in the Midwest the hunting would start mid April.

    This year it has not been warm enough yet..but any day now. I am never sure which ones are ok..good thing I don't like to eat mushrooms:)
