They put up snow fence on the beach each year to try to keep the sand on the beach and not blowing up into the houses along the beach...in the process, the fence gets buried in sand...

She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate pale pink wings like a cicada.
There must be a lot of sand blowing around on that beach.
