I just love wild turkeys...no not the drinking kind. When Shel was little we went camping up in the Jemez Mts. and we had our favorite place. Joe and Shel would spend hours on the forest floor building citys of pine cones, branches and bits of this and that. They would then make people and cars and it kept both of the entertained and happy. Every morning when we got up the turkey would be on their building site, picking everything apart. They knew whose stuff it was and didn't like anyone playing with their forest. Funny birds. Oma Linda

ReplyDeleteWe've had few turkey in our area this year. I think too many coyotes and hawks.
