Caught a heron fishing at the edge of the lake one evening...note the pinky tinge to the water which is from the pinky sky...

The geese were landing way out on the water...it's a bit blurry, but fun anyway as the sun was hitting their little rears...

This guy was running along side the road the other day...I saw him while driving both directions and stopped to say 'Hi'...I hope he had a lady friend around somewhere as we do not have very many of these around anymore...

Looking through some old stuff the other day, I found a obituary from  1934 for my (let me see, his niece is my Great Grandmother, so he would be my) Great Great Great Uncle.  It says he was born in Chicago in 1854 when it was a vast prairie...Cool thing to find...
