There is a flock of 12 turkeys living around our place...they are always moving and pecking at the ground...it's very difficult to sneak up on these guys/ladies...

She is a trouble maker.
She lives at the bottom of tangled gardens and in hedgerows.
She is only seen when the seer holds a four-leafed clover.
She wears tangled dresses of multicoloured petals. She has delicate pale pink wings like a cicada.
They spook very easily.
ReplyDeleteWe are overrun with wild turkeys. I wish the DNR or whoever planted them would have decided pheasants were endangered instead of turkeys.
ReplyDeleteWe Shel was little our favorite camp grounds in the Jemez Mts. had a flock of wild turkeys. It is a delightful way to be awakened at the crack of dawn...the noise is something else. A very great memory.
