Patterns...

While walking the fields between jumps early in the morning, the dew was heavy and made the insects drowsy...look at the patterns in the wings on the dragonfly...

Rode with the motorcycle club this weekend...got rained/hailed on while homeward bound... ouch...

He was enjoying the autumn weather...

Back lit...

I forget again the name of this...it's big and pretty...blooms each fall by my mailbox...

The backlit one is not as nice...too dull lighting...

Northern Lights...

My daughter called late Monday...she told me the northern lights were showing...all I said was 'Bye' and hit the yard with the camera...they were fading, but still cool...

Just a few that are not quite right...

Always feel bad for the rider and the horse...they both might get injured...the horse whops his hooves on the jump...







They'll twist just to try and make it over...

Maybe this rider wants to be that far up on his neck...

I do like a good silhouette...

Blue Accents...

This made a nice picture with the blue accents on the horse and rider...I think the jump went well also...

Where's the rider...

Appears as if the rider is hiding...

Unhappy...

This rider looks a bit unhappy...jump didn't quite go as expected...

HHHMMM...

This horse was flying...well not quite literally, but he was moving a bit quickly...at least the jump is in focus...

Up and Over...

We attended an equine qualifying event in August...lots of fun watching the competitors...some world renown...

In the Rear View Mirror...

The trip is in the rear view mirror...hope you enjoyed our trip and did not get too bored with the pictures...I've got a horse show on my schedule of pictures coming up next...Then some animal shots...and some flowers...

Spirit Mound...

I believe this was our last scheduled stop...It was along the Lewis and Clark trail...Spirit Mound is a spiritual place ...No one there, just us...Nice...
