Catalpa Trees...

The catalpa trees are blooming...so many blooms...so beautiful and so fragrant...though we don't seem to see any catalpa worms these day...wonder why...

Our company golf outing was last weekend...only rained for the last two holes...

I transplanted this purple iris last year... it had not bloomed in years...glad I moved it...think it's glad also...

Memorial Day...

I know it's a little bit late... but here was the Memorial Day Parade in our little town...

Pear Trees...

The pears are producing...some are falling off, but we'll still have some...

Mock Orange

The Mock Orange is blooming...two large shrubs/bushes at my camper by the lake...smell like orange blooms, but don't produce any fruit...

More wild roses...

These wild roses really attract the bees...collecting pollen or whatever they do...little bags on their legs get full of yellow...

Are they like the mystery plant on Far Side Of Fifty??? Guess not...I'll look at the blackberry plants here and document the difference...

Kittens...

Our neighbor cat, Saugy, had three kittens under my car earlier this year...they moved to my steps...now they have moved to a local barn...I miss those three kittens...
