Dusting of snow...

Last week, we had a dusting of snow... at least it wasn't the storms that some people received...but it should didn't look much like spring...

In my yard...

This fox (I think it's a fox) was snooping around my yard this last weekend...He moved too fast to get a good pic...got one though...just not the best...cool to have him there though...

Been out of it lately...

Like this robin in the snow, I've been a bit out of it lately...too much on my mind...

Flood...

We had a flood last summer...so much rain...the lake came up and all the docks were floating...it was fun as the weather was warm and we were not shut in...just got out in the rain and flooding...

New Plants...

Went walking this afternoon and saw lots of new plants coming up...It's Spring...

Seagulls and Lighthouse...

Was photographing the lighthouse one windy day and realized that it would be much nicer if I could get the seagulls in the picture...

Bee Hive...

We had three paper bee hives in our pine trees last summer... wondering if we should tear them down before spring...will the bees come back to the same hive...the hives are a little worse for wear as the winter was a bit hard on them...but they are still pretty...

Sandy snow...

The waves wash the sand up and around into the snow on the beach...then the water gets trapped between the snow piles and the sand...leaves a bird bath for the gulls...

Young flowers...

My daughter and her husband own a local greenhouse...they are planting bunches every day...lots of watering...

Was laying on my back in the snow the other day waiting for Pa to rest during our walk...looking up, this is what I saw...

Final Snow...

Well, I think the snow is finally leaving us...this small pine and log are beginning to peek out of the drifts...

Green Stuff...

The green stuff is beginning to show...no crocus yet...here's some green leaves though...are they from last year...or new this year...

New Life...

The new chicks will be in stores soon...so different for varied lifestyles and areas...city people for Easter pets...country people for food...Pet stores (just a few) or farm stores (hundreds)...I had a friend hatch these for me...they lived in his living room for a couple weeks...he so enjoyed having them around for a while...

Ice Patterns...

We've had the strangest weather...Freezing in the mornings...then muddy in the afternoons...Need winter coats in the morning and go in shirt sleeves in the afternoon...bizarre...but makes wonderful ice patterns in the drive...

Rains of Spring...
