Roads...

  This is the road that goes into our place in the Upper Penninsula...We have a couple picnic tables and a fire pit there...and some trees of course...

Lake Superior Again...

    Nice way to spend an afternoon...The sun way up north is intense though and you must be careful not to burn...

As you can see, it stays shallow out a ways...

Beach Umbrella...

    We were at Lake Superior earlier this year...It was warm and a beautiful beach day though a bit windy...this beach umbrella flew away...They did catch it eventually...It was probably not nice of us, but we laughed...

Salamander...

  Earlier this year, this little guy stopped by to say 'HI'...he was living under a water bucket that I dumped so that mosquito laerva did not grow in the stagnant water...I did find him a new home which was nicely damp and cool...though he did not say anything...

Baca and Me...

  Rode the daughter's horse the other day...she wasn't happy about it (see how she is holding her ears)...but she was nice to me anyway...I'm not much for stirrups...Went out again Tuesday on Henry...he was very excited to get out and we had a bit of a discussion concerning how fast we were going to move, but I won in the end and we had a good time...probably won't walk for a couple days, but that's okay...

August 22, 1970...

  Just look at this couple...They are so young...now they are so old...going for a anniversary get away...wedding was so long ago...so much has happened; some things so beautiful and some so awful...

My oldest granddaughter stopped by Monday evening...she is such a beautiful person...

PS...I made my wedding dress...and still have it...

Passion Flower...

  The passion flower is blooming again...second time this season...I think it did not like the hot weather we had earlier and shut down for a bit and now has resumed it's blooming...they are so intricate...

  It was sunny out then it was raining...darnest thing...but water drops on the rose look nice...

  It was not a calm day on the water...and no one had ventured forth as yet...

    The daughter was power washing the cabin...paint was everywhere...

 Where is Miss Kitty going?   For a boat ride (without leaving the dock of course)...

  This gentlemen released his lantern in the evening light...we watched it float off into the sunset...

  My rose bloomed this year...only once so far, but I have another rose plant (a mini one) with a bud...

Ouch!!

    I got a heat rash on my face at the horse show last week...It was really ugly and it was on my face!!  I have treated it with lots of love (and other stuff) and it's getting better...
