Birds were landing on the new snow and leaving wing prints...

More Curves...

Here are the same ice curves on a different day when they are showing the brown water... 

Lots of Easter stuff out there right now...for those of you who celebrate, Happy Easter...

The last of the lake ice...it moves to the west as the sun melts it...the geese are enjoying the new open water... 

Big Winds...

The wind was blowing...the water was flying...It was COLD!! 

Strolling...

This couple were strolling on the ice  ... beautiful cloudy day for a stroll...

Warm snow...

Look at the way the sticks imbed themselves in the warm, melting snow...

The snow is leaving...the sun is coming north...

There were still piles of snow in northern lower Michigan...probably gone by now though...think they had rain...too bad, the snow was beautiful..

The opossom   was active last night...

It was snowing and hazy... which of these do you like better...one is the original, the other is "I'm feeling lucky" on the photo software...They are so different, yet the same...   

Tracks...

We went north again this last week...the snowmobiles were playing in the fields along the highway...see their tracks??? 

This Tree...

  This tree caught my attention on the way out and I decided to stop and photograph it on the way back...wonder if the pic was worth the effort...

When it falls, it leaves cool marks in the ground snow...

Over the bridge...

Our daughter went snowmobiling with us ... we wore everyone out on the bumps that day...

Beautiful snow this morning...brown yesterday and white today...great stuff...love it...

Weird snow...

  Look at this snow...it's little tiny straight flakes...looks like whiskers...don't remember seeing snow like this before...wonder how it was formed...

Gray Sky...

It was one of those gray days when things look cool, but hazy...

Under the Ice...

The shoreline at the lake is beginning to melt...the ice never got very strong this year...  the sand at them bottom is patterned like fish scales...
