View from the beach...

A while back...

I've been missing for a little bit...Use to sit at the computer all day...now I'm just here occasionally... Need to get some new stuff up here, eh?

Succulent Blooms...

Went to the greenhouse and photographed the succulent blooms...more to come...

Through the dirt...

  This succulent bloom didn't shake the dirt off when it came through...

First of the Season...

        The first bullfrog of the season...my grands found him in their yard...the cat had to check him out and he blew himself up to look too big to eat...think he succeeded...we took him to the lake...he's on his own again...

I'm finding it difficult to find places in the house for the stuff I brought home from my former office...

Rock Pile...

Someone had gathered stones and made a pile on the stone wall... This is what it looked like when we first passed it...on the return trip, many of the little colored ones were gone...

Well, since I'm not employed any longer...Hubbs has made me a list of things to do which I have not gotten to for some time...I think I'll be able to fill my time...

Picnic Tables...

All lined up in storage for the winter...of course, we did not get much winter this year...

On a different note...It seems I am no longer gainfully employed...I've been downsized...Guess I'll get some time at home now, eh?

Holy Smoke...

    The volunteer firemen were exhausted as they had worked from 9pm all through the next morning...but they kept going...they are all wonderful...

Fire!!!

    Here's a couple pictures of the remains of the three stores in Downtown...We did not go to watch them burn, but we did visit the next morning...

We had a major fire in our town Friday night...we were at the lake and the pumper trucks kept coming to the lake to take more water to fight the fire...8 pumpers taking water which did no good to stop the fire...at least no one was injured...100 year old buildings gone...will get you some pictures from Saturday am ...
