Yesterday was Pa's birthday...he's 88 which is not much, but it's still alot...his walking, breathing, comprehension are not what they used to be...we spend alot of time together just trying to understand each other...we laugh alot...

The water rolls and waves break on ice and piers...coating

When the wind blows on Lake Michigan in the winter, the water sprays up on the ice at the beach and makes piles...

The lake is frozen and white...a bit slushy when walking.
