We inherited my father-in-law's dog when he died last year... strange little dog...but she's doing better since we got a new puppy to play with her...

Hubby and I went to the local car show recently...He's trying out the Smart Car... a bit small, don't you think?? He doesn't fit very well... anyway, here's a logo for a completely different type of car...

Lake Michigan can create beautiful ice sculptures...people like to walk out on the ice until they reach the open water...it can be scary and dangerous...they go anyway...

I was photographing the chickens feet yesterday and one of the roosters kept checking out the camera...

Tried it...

Cropped the photo to emphasize the fluff on the cattail. Think it improves it?

Compare Cattails...

Notice the previous photo...compare it to this one...both are of the same cattails though different angles and different time of day...therefore, very different light...which do you like better...the subdued or the brilliant?

These cattails will have to be cut before they completely fuzz out and spread like wildfire...my kids once spread a bunch of fuzzed out cattails all over my house...took years to clean it all...
